I bought this TV at Best Buy a few weeks ago, and I am incredibly happy. As mentioned by others, it is a solid range of HDTV input with only minor inconvenience.
The picture quality is excellent. Those whose eyes are incredibly difficult, those who sit there and analyze every pixel, but the bottom line is that this is a 1080p TV and Blu-ray and video games on my PS3 (Playstation 3) is fantastic. Absolutely nothing beats the quality for the price!
Sound quality: this is where television is becoming precarious. the sound is not great, just average. One critic said the flat-screen TVs are not flat to get great speakers, it is true. Want to buy a type of speaker system to go with the TV that the experience of real theater. Personally I use the TV in my room 10x12 if the sound is enough for me, but I still think for the speakers.
Characteristics: The TV has great black levels and colors. want a lot of two kings of the box straight to do because all levels of the plant are so high. Once you have the TV for a good place, just sit back and enjoy all the cracks and crevices on the faces of people. There are some features that I really like "game mode" specific, but are nice to have.
Overall: If this is your first foray into the world of HDTV, as it was for me, I recommend this TV. This is especially recommended for those of us with a
